1. Electro-Fusion Jointing of PE pipes is done with an integral electrical heating coil embedded in the fitting. Welding is carried out by passing a current through the coils. The coils, acting as resistors, dissipate heat and melt the surrounding material which expands causing the fittings to be fully fused to the pipe.
Electronfusion welding method- Making a scratch on surfaces of the pipes with depth 0,2mm to 0,4mm.- Wipping the jointing surfaces. Marking position on the pipes to be joint. - Pushing pipe and fitting to its position. - Jointing the pipe and fitting by Fusion jointing machine conform with parameter of instruction on fitting. 2. Welded HDPE fittings are manufactured by joing sections of HDPE pipe together to produce the required shape. HDPE pipe sections are joined by heat fusion using the suitable equipment to gurantee serviceable lifetime fitting.
(1) Butt fusion welding method- Cutting plane and wipping the jointing end surfaces of pipes.- Heating two end surfaces of pipes .- Pressing and holding two pipe surfaces together until having firm jointing (2) Socket fusion welding method- Cutting plane and wipping the jointing surfaces of pipe and socket .- Heating the jointing surfaces of pipe and socket .- Pressing and holding the pipe and the socket surfaces together until having firm jointing. Donghong welded HDPE fittings are manufactured by joing sections of HDPE pipe together to produce the required shape. HDPE pipe sections are joined by heat fusion using the suitable equipment to gurantee serviceable lifetime fitting. Large diameter fittings require special handling during shiping unloading, and installation. Precautions should be taken to prevent bending moments that could stree the fittings.
